The IV Moscow International Festival "The Circle of Light"

10 - 14 october, 2014, Moscow


This year the festival theme will be “Traveling around the world” – a multi-faceted and fascinating odyssey of light uniting the whole world.

The viewing sites of the festival will become the places of true light extravaganza: VDNKh, Bolshoi Theatre, Tsaritsyno park, Ostankino and part of Kuznetsky Most street – they are going to be transformed by modern technology, involving spectators into a multimedia journey.

The festival guests will visit the remote parts of the world, learn about the culture and customs of different nations of the world, see the works of best Russian and foreign artists of light, breath-catching laser shows, unique lighting installations and much more.

Within the framework of the festival video mapping competition "Art Vision" will be held. The pavilions of VDNKh will become the sites of the competition.

Digital October and Media-cube, to be erected at Manezh Square, is going to turn this year into educational venues of the festival.

Annually Moscow International Festival "The Circle of Light" attracts a huge number of spectators, it is the traditional autumn present of the Government of Moscow to residents and visitors of the city.
